Homemade masks to narrow pores on the face
Oily skin usually remains young for many years, but this is probably its only advantage. Basically, it gives its owners a lot of trouble, because maintaining it in good condition is not always easy. Oily and combination skin, like any other, requires daily care, which includes thorough cleansing and subsequent application of a special agent that regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands.
To improve its appearance, it is recommended to use special masks. With their help, you can narrow the wide pores, remove shine, reduce the likelihood of acne. The most difficult thing in the “struggle for beauty” is the narrowing of enlarged pores, which usually have a very non-aesthetic appearance and considerably spoil the mood and self-esteem of their owners. Simple, but effective masks will help to make them less noticeable.
The best way to narrow pores are masks made of clay. The healing properties of cosmetic clay have been known since ancient times.Nowadays this inexpensive and effective tool can compete with expensive cosmetics for its curative effects on the skin. Before applying the clay, you must thoroughly cleanse the face, and for greater effect, you can use a scrub that allows all beneficial substances to better penetrate the skin. To prepare such a mask at home is very simple. It is best to plant clay not with ordinary water, but with green tea, a face tonic or aloe juice.
The clay mask is prepared in non-metallic dishes. To do this, take a few tablespoons of clay powder and gradually add warm water, stirring constantly. You can use your fingers for this, since it is easier to rub the lumps formed with them. Stir to the consistency of sour cream. To give this procedure aromatherapy elements, you can add a few drops of fragrant essential oil to the mixture.
In this case, you need to mix everything thoroughly so that the oil is evenly distributed in the clay mass. After this, the mass should immediately be applied a thin layer on the skin and left to dry completely (about 20 minutes). Then it should be thoroughly washed with plenty of water. If the prepared mask will dry out on the face ahead of time, you can put a moistened napkin on top or just gently moisten it with water.
Since ancient times, fruit and berry masks made on the basis of apples, apricots, plums, strawberries, and peaches have been used to narrow pores. The pulp of the fruit is applied to the skin that has been cleansed beforehand and left for half an hour. Then removed with a cotton swab moistened with milk. There is another very effective fruit and vegetable mask for narrowing the pores. For its preparation, you need to whip the protein until the consistency of sour cream, and then gradually add a teaspoon of juice from any fresh fruits, vegetables or berries. Leave the mixture for 20 minutes and rinse with abundant cool water.
For porous oily skin, a mask based on lemon juice and cream is perfect. To do this, mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of cream, apply on face and leave for 20 minutes. After that, wash off with abundant cool water. This option not only effectively tightens pores, but also whitens and rejuvenates the skin.
In addition to home care, there are effective ready-made masks. For example, “Megamyatnaya mask” from the company Lush or “Deep Cleansing Emergency Mask” from the company Clinique, made on the basis of white clay, famous for its healing properties.
White clay perfectly absorbs excess fat and deeply cleanses the skin. At the same time, it has a strong bactericidal action, tones up the skin and visually narrows the pores. White and blue clay can also be used to prepare a mask at home. To do this, clay is diluted with warm water (aloe juice, tonic for the face, green tea) to the thickness of sour cream. To improve the effect, you can add to the mixture 3-5 drops of lemon juice.
To narrow the very expanded pores, a lemon-protein mask is ideal. For its preparation, mix one protein and 10-15 drops of lemon juice. The mass is left for 10 minutes, and then washed off with cool water. At increased fat content of the skin, you can add to the mask half a teaspoon of alum. Lemon juice can be replaced with red currant juice.
Another mask is prepared from a mixture of egg white and a slurry of plantain leaves, whipped up to the consistency of sour cream. A mask made from sour milk and whey, and an alternative mask made from powdered aspirin, half a teaspoon of lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of water will be very effective.
The ideal option is a mask based on rye bran, diluted with cucumber juice to the density of sour cream. You can also use other bran, and replace the cucumber juice with beaten egg white.
An effective folk remedy, narrowing the dilated pores, is a thick mixture of low-fat cottage cheese and cucumber juice. Another indispensable product for oily skin is sauerkraut. Cabbage leaves can be applied to the face, they tone up and defat the skin.
For this, cabbage juice with oat or other bran divorced in it can also be used. Each of these masks should be left on the face for 20 minutes and then rinsed with cold water. Protein masks are not recommended to use more often 3 times a month.
