In the depth of the centuries, the sticks used to eat food in Japan, China, in Korea and Vietnam had a slightly different look than they do now.Then they looked like a piece of bamboo trunk, which on one side was solid, and on the other - split into two sharp ends. These are the ends of the eastern people and picked up the food. Now the rods are always separate, only disposable ones are fed with a fastened edge, but they should be broken.
