How to Make Nutella Swirled Pumpkin Bread
1½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon vanilla
⅓ cup milk
½ cup canola oil
½ cup Nutella
Prepare to make the bread.Preheat the oven to 350 °F (177 °C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Ensure you make the paper as flat as you possibly can and smooth out the wrinkles and bumps.This will make it easier to pour the items in the pan.
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.Pour the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves and stir with a whisk.
Beat the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.Pour in the eggs, oil, milk, vanilla, and pumpkin puree in another large bowl.
Pour the dry ingredients in with the wet.Mix with a hand or electric blender on low speed until well-combined and there are no more flour streaks.
Slowly pour the batter on the loaf pan.Scrape off any excess batter with a rubber spatula.
Heat up the Nutella in a microwave for about 15 seconds to soften.The results of the heated Nutella should be slightly gooey and soft afterwards.
Swirl the Nutella around on the batter using a small knife.Drizzle it all around the batter.
Bake the bread for about an hour, until the bread rises and the edges are golden brown.
Have the loaf cool on a wire rack for about ten minutes.
Serve.Cut the bread into slices. Lay a piece on a serving plate. Garnish with whipped cream or extra Nutella. Enjoy!

- Most stores sell pre-ground cloves. However, if you can only get whole ones, you will need to grind them before adding them into the batter.
- You can also spread cream cheese over this bread once it has fully baked.
- To test if the bread has fully cooked, poke a toothpick in the middle of the bread. If it comes out dry it's done.
