The sugar-free birch sap mash recipe

This recipe can rightly be called "royal". We get a high quality product without added sugar, with a minimum content of harmful and toxic additives.

Ingredients for Birch Braga:

  • birch juice (not less than 30 liters);
  • raisins - 200 g .;
  • 1 tablespoon of yogurt to brighten the mash in the process of maturation.

Step-by-step cooking:

  1. According to the technology of making moonshine, one part of sugar should fall into three parts of moisture. Therefore, it is necessary to remove excess water from birch sap and thereby increase the sugar content in it. To ensure active fermentation, we pour 3 liters of juice, which will become a natural “sourdough”. The remaining 27 liters is evaporated three times.
  2. The resulting concentrate is cooled and mixed with the cast juice, add raisins, which works as a fermentation catalyst and supplies additional vegetable yeast.
  3. Place the mixture in a container with a water seal and leave it in a warm place until maturation is complete (for 2 weeks).
  4. Next, the brew is drained and sent to the distillation. At the output will be about 3 liters of house alcohol.
