Nasty Gal - Behind the Scenes October Lookbook 2012
The Wildfox Girls of Beverly Hills Lookbook for Resort 2015
Wildfox always manages to present a new lookbook with just the right amount of retro feel and vintage touches for their trademark nostalgic air. Right now theWildfox spring 2019 collection, which is available for purchase online on , is split into two lookbooks, the Paradise Found collection and the Tropical Bliss collection. Both are full of sun-drenched photos depicting the models enjoying time in the sun, on a boat, on shore, relaxing and just enjoying themselves.
With the current early spring weather being cold and dreary, the Wildfox spring/summer 2019 collection is an effective message to get people on board with plotting out their new summer looks to include some of Wildfox’s swimwear variety. The lookbook used a post card format to announce the credits showing off another feature of Wildfox lookbooks – a full dedication and immersion into a theme (check out the yearbook lookbook from 2019).
The models, Robin Marjolein and Victoria Germyn were photographed by Mark Hunter and Steven Meiers. Makeup artist Gloria Noto and hair stylist Luke Chamberlain were also credited here along with the executive producer Jimmy Sommers. The credits were listed on the address section of the postcard next to the message ‘Wish You Were Here!’ Both models appearing to have their own postcards are cute and quirky, as expected.
The clothes in both collections provide an interesting blend of staples we expect from Wildfox, particularly interesting tops. A nude colored sweater with a white bikini print on it is an incredibly cute and clever way to one up the infamous bikini body tee shirts.
Accessories always make a big portion of a lookbook; they just accentuate everything beautifully. The eyewear was incredible; it was one of the first accessories to zoom in on in every picture they are provided in. The cool duo toned frames and large cat eyes with dark lenses and even a clear set on thin metal, retro styled frames gave the collection options that were incredibly smart and cute.
Wildfox swimsuits here meant many different things apparently, and none of them looked bad. There were bodysuits thrown in that could have doubled as either a bodysuit or a swimsuit. One of the greatest saidChips and Salsa dieton a black short sleeved swimsuit, while the model held a jar of salsa and reached into a bag of chips while sitting on deck.
Others included the high waisted, high cut bikini bottoms, paired with a crop top, which is an inescapably retro look. Here the paradox of describing the appeals of the new Wildfox retro inspired collection means describing outfits that have an appeal born of a favoritism for more retro designs.
Wildfox has established that it has international appeal, being distributed in over 150 different countries currently, because they have that sort of demand to meet.

Wildfox really knows how to make us feel nostalgically trapped in a springtime sadness, as proven by its latestWildfox spring 2019 ad campaign. Sun-kissed indeed, Wildfox’s spring 2019 campaign follows models Robin Marjolein and Victoria Germyn around in their time-travelling adventures into the Eighties, the most jocose and athleisure-inspired fashions of which are also at the core of this collection, which you can shop for on .
Captured by photographers Mark Hunter and Steven Meiers, and styled by MUA Gloria Noto and hair stylist Luke Chamberlain, Wildfox’s spring 2019 lookbook is also an ode to girl power and feminism, with both the brand ambassadors and a vast majority of the staples being fearlessly open about their feminist agenda. Slogans such as “Stop Judging me” got fiercely emblazoned on stylish T-shirts, creating an appealing contrast with the ones that refer to food, holiday as a state of mind, and being always late.
Aside from feminism, one of the Wildfox spring 2019 collection’s keywords is, in fact, irony, as the label indeed wants us to not take ourselves too seriously and to just have fun with fashion (or to get us stocked up with t-shirts to give as presents to the one friend that always says “I’ll be ready in five minutes”).
As a result, the line-up is packed with appealing loungewear-inspired fashions, too, for which the Eighties-inspired references inevitably play a huge role (after all, one of the collection’s taglines is “becoming your most relaxed self”). Bomber jackets, striped sweatshirts, palazzo pants and short shorts are here to be found in a way that their silhouettes appear to be equally essentials as well as versatile, with their neutral colors and relaxed lines making it possible for us to easily style them with anything we may already own.
Another great source of inspiration for this spring 2019 collection is, unexpectedly, Miami. Los Angeles-based label Wildfox headed to one of America’s sunniest cities to find some of the best summer-infused sources of inspiration, here interpreted on the many sweatshirts and T-shirts printed with patterns of palm trees and wholesome fruits such as watermelons, cherries and oranges.
Those who love the sexier side of spring and summer, will surely fancy the Wildfox spring 2019 collection’s sultriest pieces, which include both naïve swimsuits, and sheer tops with long, flared sleeves.
Eighties-inspired glasses with Aviator frames, sporty-chic hats, statement pieces such as dangling earrings and colorful chunky sandals complete the line-up’s proposals with something for every day, whether it is for us, or for our girl squad’s sun-kissed members.

TheInto the Limelight Part 2 Wildfox resort 2019 collectionfeatures a fun party atmosphere and center stage, spotlight stealing aesthetics. Everything we are used to with Wildfox, from printed tops to patterned bottoms and layers with lots of sparkle can be found in this collection, which you can purchase at .
Paparazzi blocking sunglasses are a great accessory shown in the collection, as well as a set of belts – some wide, some very skinny, to accentuate the looks. Light reflecting sequin high-waisted shorts and a stretchy sequin romper open the resort lookbook with bright leggings and fun t-shirts.
Printed sweaters, sweatshirts and t-shirts are regular fare for Wildfox, but there is no loss of fun and amusement in the sayings or designs. One says (in letters clearly designed to appear to be similar to a shining marquee) ‘Cocktail in my hand, confetti in my hair’, while another has a ‘Champaign tower’ on it.
A black t-shirt features two well placed disco balls and another that boldly stats the wearer is ‘Not that innocent’. The Wildfox resort 2019 collection as a whole is a lot of fun, but the shirts are a whole section of fun all on their own. One of my favorite shirts, worn with sparkling sequin shorts is a shirt that clearly states “I don’t care about your resolution’.
An interesting pair of pleat-topped pants creates a cool and fun look, taking the crumb-catcher pleats from tops and adding them to the top of the pants. It has been done before and it was still very interesting and fun to see in the Wildfox resort 2019 collection.
A beautiful black micro pleated semi sheer three-quarter-length skirt is one of my favorites of the collection, because the movement and A-line shape is flattering and the level of sheer is perfection. The skirt is a highlight for me and I expect to be seeing it in my wardrobe.
One of the coolest pieces in the collection is a pair of sheer patchwork wide-legged pants. In the image, the pants are paired with a set of open-toed platform slides and a sweater with the famous Pink Floyd album cover designed on the front.
A quote from Cher, icon of many different artistic mediums but most assuredly a fashion icon, states “I’ve been Famous my entire life; I don’t know any other way”, which seems to be the aesthetic being pushed in the lookbook. Directly beneath the quote is a very throwback look with large dark glasses, a bow-tied top beneath a statement t-shirt, high-waisted, flat-front pants and a wide black textured belt.
The Wildfox resort 2019 collection overall is a lot of fun to see and quite likely even more fun to wear.

Wildfox Into the Limelightis the holiday 2019 dressing guide for those who like to look back on more than just the current year. Available for purchase at , the entire lookbook has a very retro feel to it in both the styling and the photography. The makeup is very dewy, with touches of shimmer and light in the corners of the eyes and on the cheekbones, which gave the looks a particularly interesting glow. The hairstyles and overall makeup looks are retro in a complementary and sparkling sort of way.
Wildfox typically has a knack for layering, pastels and shimmering fabrics, so the holiday 2019 lookbook held no surprise with those elements. What is always a surprise is the fun images and sayings they will come up with, such as the reddish orange tee shirt with the plate full multicolored stars, a fork and a knife on the front. This tee shirt was paired with a pair of high waisted multicolored bejeweled panties.
The colors of the outfit are bright, youthful and fun in front of tweed jackets, sequin pieces and fur in a closet. The layering followed an interesting theme of attire and fashion peek-a-boo as well, with an interesting choice of a long-sleeved, scoop-neck large star-patterned sweater with a worn-in hemline that can be paired with a lot of items that were shown as portions of another outfit.
In the lookbook, however, the image that includes that sweater showed it paired with a leopard print mini skirt, fishnets and a jacket with the sleeves rolled up. The look was wild, but the best one was the black shimmer leggings, gold shirt with the bow at the neck and the Slay tee shirt layered on top.
It was fun and quick, and some of the best things about fashion were in this one look. It was unexpected by stylish and outside the norm, even within the lookbook. Wildfox Into the Limelight showed a plethora of different looks that can be appreciated by a wide variety of people.
Everything imaginable is in this lookbook. Accessories included turbans, golden layered scale belts and fishnets and the hair was full of volume, shine and curls galore. The layering of sweatshirts over button-down shirts and lace dresses was interesting aesthetically, but not unexpected or particularly innovative, rather a comforting and stylish staple.
Knits, lace, sequins, tee shirts, sweatshirts and metallic shirts with bows all made an appearance making each outfit look completely unique. There were leopard print mini skirts and satin joggers under layers of shirts. Everything was so interesting as an individual piece, and while some of the ensembles are not for everyone, all of the pieces can be fit easily into a variety of wardrobes.

I want to start by saying that every look is not for everybody, some people have a different aesthetic and a lot of times this keeps people from investigating the individual pieces that make up a lookbook. One of the greatest things about fashion, however, is the ability to curate a look from nearly any piece, and that can certainly be done with the pieces in theWildfox ‘Academy’ fall 2019 lookbookthat are already available at . The affluent, sweet and bored aesthetic may not be your goal, but every piece in this collection is completely wearable.
The makeup is very doll like with spread out lash clusters on wide eyes and dewy, rosy looks, which matched beautifully well with the vintage private school chic surroundings. There were even fascinators and fishnets!
The looks feature layers and layers and beautifully placed accessories. My favorite part of most lookbooks is the accessories and Wildfox did not disappoint. I am in love with their AMAZING eyewear; literally every piece was gorgeous. The two toned round spectacles are my favorite, but the shades were equally amazing.
Another favorite was a dark grey, nearly black sweatshirt with the words ‘Cry BB’ spelled out in sweetheart candies. This design was also seen on a T-shirt that was paired with a soft cardigan, high collared lace shirt, mid-length skirt, thigh-high fishnets and what appeared to be cute wedges all in light tones.
Not bright, nothing in the lookbook was overbearing or harsh, nothing definitively bright or dark. Wildfox brought a vintage look that had a fresh take, while also preserving sustained existence in the fashion world – the ever sought after timeless quality.
There is lace, bows, prints, cardigans, dresses, skirts, oversized sweaters, and T-shirts. All of these looks were finished off with ribbons, bows, belts, fabulous eyewear, various length sheer and knit socks in a variety of shades, chunky heeled shoes and even knit hats. Sure most lookbooks feature all of these pieces and they can easily be checked off, but no matter the number of layers, the pieces meshed well. Each of these aspects was layered together for a cute, debutante-esque look, complete with a tea party and even a Dalmatian.
The design featured a soft palette, bikes and plenty of outdoor shots. Even the ‘Anatomy of a Bike Basket’ was cute and rich girl geared (as shown by the black Amex and vintage gold Rolex watch). Books and gilded wrought iron doors were as much a part of the look as the clothes.
The Wildfox ‘Academy’ fall 2019 lookbook is a smorgasborg of possibilities, the looks fine as they are, but each piece capable of creating so many more. I myself prefer a darker aesthetic, but the more I looked at this lookbook, the more opportunities I found to incorporate a piece or two into existing outfits I have, or re-accessorizing looks that were already designed.
Wildfox did an excellent job, the yearbook styled fall 2019 lookbook was amazing, and every piece was given the opportunity to shine while helping promote the overall look and feel. The quotes were a nice touch as well – I’ll be using a few of those myself and hopefully wearing a few pieces from the Wildfox Couture 2019 collection in the very near future.

Maggie Rawlins and Tiffany Keller are currently the most wanted fugitives in the fashion industry, who were last seen posing in theWildfox Motel Dreamers spring/summer 2019 lookbook. Wildfox Couture’s latest lookbook features easy-going, casual-chic modern-day Thelma and Louise, whose free-spirited attitudes perfectly go hand in hand with Wildfox’s essential staples and the lookbook’s settings. Lensed by famed photographers Mark Hunter and Steven Meiers, the duo is a pure pleasure to watch in every single picture, overwhelming the onlookers with some cool, wanderlust vibes that are just romantically nostalgic.
Last seen driving in a vintage Chevrolet, Rawlins and Keller are running errands along the Arizona/New Mexico border, sporting ironic graphic tees, lightweight bodices, cowgirl boots and, of course, a few pairs of Wildfox aviator sunglasses, which could be considered as the ultimate cowgirl summer essential, also being one of the summer 2019 eyewear trends. Patel pink hues, ombre touches of light blue and bright whites embellish most of the t-shirts and t-shirt dresses available in the collection, and are basically meant to be worn with the line-up’s androgynous denim jackets.
Although the majority of the pieces are either solid-colored or refined with ironic quotes, there are a few geometric patterns spotted as well that we bet could mostly intrigue those who can’t have enough of festival-inspired proposals. Other Coachella-approved ensembles include relaxed floor-length airy frocks, fringed short shorts, waistcoats and ponchos, as well as off-the-shoulder dresses with fruity prints, which exude some summery vibes, indeed. Seventies-inspired tunics, crop-tops and pencil skirts with asymmetric hems look like a well-served mix of both glamorous and cowgirl-inspired attitudes, giving us something to wear from daytime to nighttime.
Rawlins and Keller keep collecting memories with some desert-inspired outfits, where billowy hats are the sole protagonists. Rife with skimpy tops, bell-bottom white trousers, airy jumpsuits, rompers and even more bodices, this Wildfox spring/summer 2019 collection is all about summer’s key pieces that are almost impossible to keep track of. As for the line-up’s protagonist, the black bodice with the ominous message ‘pretty good at bad decisions’ printed on it is just the writing in the wall that instantly confirms the rebellious spirits of Rawlins and Keller!
Co-created by two best friends, Wildfox is the perfect label for those who love chilling in the sun, wearing cool, fancy and cozy pieces, partying hard at night or just relaxing with friends, and this latest lookbook perfectly embodies the power of an everlasting friendship as well as that of an eternal, free-spirited youth. Season after season Wildfox is definitely mastering the whole ‘lookbook thing’, and we can’t wait to see what the label has in store for us next!

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Wildfox has released a “Rainbow Charm” lookbook featuring special garments for the Irish holiday. For the photoshoot, executive producer Jimmy Sommers featured Ganna Bogdan in a pastel-pink-based setting wearing quirky shirts with quips and quotes to commemorate the day. Bogdan’s light pink hair was styled by Tonya Brewer and Netty Jordan and her matching makeup was done by Afton Williams. Jesse Fiorino was behind the lens for the cutesy shoot, and Stephanie Lavaggi and Katy Gross were at the head of styling production and concept. With this dynamic crew, everything was set for the launch of the line.
Tritely so, a bag of Lucky Charms cereal was used throughout the shoot, but the result added to the overall cuteness the Wildfox Rainbow Charm 2019 lookbook was trying to evoke. The theme of love in this line is not to be mistaken for Valentine’s Day, although the colors and setting of the photoshoot made it very easy to do so. Perhaps the hints of green that came through in cute pieces like as a pastel “I’m not Irish… But kiss me anyway” sweatshirt or a pair of shorts could have been more frequent. This would have better established the essence of the holiday as it is known today, which would have been easy to do with the various slogans to go along with the day, although the continued patterns and images did supplement the purpose well.
A Lucky Charms print sweatshirt on a pastel pink background could be worn through the year without ever seeming too gimmicky, and could also make for the ideal lounge top for any time of year when you’re holed up in your home all day. And the same goes for the tank top of the same print and color. Either would make for an adorable outfit, but the thought of wearing a Lucky Charms top while lounging in bed eating a bowl of Lucky Charms sounds an amazing time.
The looks are available for purchase on . If you’re looking for a quirky way to finish off an outfit, your best option might be within this lookbook. Everyone should have at least one go-to items for St. Patrick’s Day, especially if it has an accent of green, so as to not get pinched by die-hard St. Patty’s rule followers, although wearing a look from this collection might get you pinched regardless, since many of them are just so cute.

Do you like fairy tales? We certainly do and we are grown women. Who does not enjoy a good happily ever after story anyway, no matter how unrealistic it may appear to us, simple folks. The newlookbook by Wildfox for spring 2019simply dares you to write your own love story with its incredibly designed creations, from the tulle skirts to the mesh dresses and micro shorts worn with embroidered lace tops that you can shop now on . There is simply something utterly romantic about this new spring campaign, with the ladies sitting on a tree, with bare feet and sexy windswept hair.
It is a lookbook for those of us – girls, who enjoy the whisperings of nature, the lithe feeling of sprinting through the meadows, the dewy mornings refreshing your senses and filling your lungs with utter delight. Yes, it is a lovely campaign and we are definitely enjoying the cover, let along the rest of the series in clothing presentations. The catch phrase? “The work of magic is this, that it breathes and at every breath transforms realities.” Nadine Leopold plays the unicorn, Solveig Hansen the mermaid, and Allie Lewis is the flighty fairy, whom we all want to catch. Photographed by Mark Hunter, it is a collection that we are enjoying thoroughly.
Once upon a time, the story begins, in a place where the forest met the sea, the magical beings met and became fast friends, the unicorn one with alabaster hair, who enjoyed dancing in the wind and looked quite adorable in her food themes sweater over a gorgeous side cut-out tie-dye one piece, the mermaid of a deeply loving nature with sapphire eyes and a long sleeved romper with an above the knee hem to the legs. Allie was a curious creature with a romantic mystery about her and a feathery skirt, her ice cream cone translucent shirt wreaking all kinds of havoc on those poor sailors, who happened upon her sacred beauty.
Those shell bras certainly came in handy, while the comfortable pants worn certainly made the mermaid feel good. The girls even crafted their own surfboard to play on the surfs with, while wearing sweaters with pineapples worked in and calling out loud with some fun shirts, that the mermaid’s on duty, while ensuring to point out where exactly one can find hangover central.
All the while, those glasses with the colorful shades certainly appealed to the onlookers from far and wide, people who made their way over to the magical cove to find the mermaid, the fairy and the unicorn, wearing tulle skirts, long, center parted white dresses and all forms of fun and flirty pieces, even a mesh top with the word cake embroidered across the chest. And for those lucky sailors, who found their mystical napping grounds, they witnessed the beauty of three lovely ladies lying on a tree, and enchanted plant emanating a soft glow from the magical ether it produced, a balm for sunburns and nasty hangovers indeed.
The story goes on and on really, but know that animals and plants on tops, fun little skirts, flirty floral themed dresses, tube tops, long sleeves, billowing skirts and more are what you should expect from the Wildfox spring 2019 collection.

Big rounded sunglasses and a jovial free spirit: here we are with theWildfox Couture 2019 swimwear campaign, whose summery vibes have been perfectly entitled as ‘Pacific Coast Dreams’. And it surely was a dreamlike version of a swim campaign, photographer Mark Hunter lensing models Paige Watkins and Keilani Asmus, who really exude a festive attitude and could make anyone currently living in the Northern Hemisphere envy those who live in the Southern part of our beloved Earth. Hey, you can already shop these pieces on getting ready for the cheerful summer days to arrive!
Like in a perfect remake version of Katy Perry’sCalifornia Girls, Watkins and Asmus prove to be at ease with what they are wearing, showing off their toned physique across the beaches of California State Route 1. Their cheerful vibes got probably affected by the collection’s free spirit as well, the carefree patterns and jocose lines being absolutely perfect for those who like to stay at the beach all day long, playing volleyball during the morning and chilling while having a bonfire picnic at night.
Both the bikinis and one-pieces in the Wildfox Couture swimwear 2019 collection focus on diversity, as they come adorned with different prints and cute girly motifs and appliqués. Regarding the prints, one may find both friendly designed patterns such as hearts, flowers and ice creams, as well as more classics and low-profile solid-colored prints. Rompers, maxi and midi dresses, tank tops and flared t-shirts come in such prints, too, slightly exploring next summer’s boho-chic influences, treating us to floor-length white embroidered maxi dresses, for instance. Such influences also affect the collection’s summer hats and rounded sunglasses, the oversized dramatic version being all about the upcoming summer 2019 eyewear trends.
Some of the collection’s most iconic and cool protagonists are the many ruffled bikinis, the ruches of which also balance the figure and could help those who are not that happy about their silhouette get more self-confident. There is also a range of trikinis included in the collection, the cut-outs adding a sensual touch of femininity while at the same time evoking characteristic sporty-chic ease.
A more urban-chic version of the traditional Seventies-inspired psychedelic tie-dye print embellishes two of the collection’s key pieces, which could be easily combined with a pair of denim shorts and one of the line-up’s crop tops. As for the floral and botanical prints, one really has an embarrassing array of options to choose from. For those who are looking for romantic items, those cute daisies could be the best choice, while those who are looking for more surfer-appropriate designs should definitely consider buying one of Wildfox Couture’s light-blue floral swimsuits.
Last but not least, if you are directly going from a day at the beach to a swimming pool party, there’s a long, embroidered night-blue dress with a dramatic frontal slit that is just waiting for you!

“Beauty is something you see. Love is something you feel.” So says theWildfox Girls of Beverly Hills lookbook, and so is true for everyday life! The beauty in this lookbook is evident, and you can definitely see how gorgeous the photos are, but it’s up to you to feel the love that subtly plays between the lines of the photos. Photographers Mark Hunter and Steven Meiers no doubt captured exactly what the producers wanted. And it was a truly gorgeous display, at that.
Wildfox is known for their throwback retro style, and their 2015 resort lookbook is no different. Models Vita Sidorkina and Kristina Peric were perfect for their roles, and looked great with their teased and flipped hairdos and classic ‘60s makeup styling. Ryan Taniguchi and Priscilla Ono showed their expertise with the models’ hair and makeup looks, respectively, for the Wildfox resort 2015 lookbook, and it worked in perfect favor of this photoshoot.
Not only were the models decked in full ‘60s, but the whole scene was as well. From the classic Corvette and reading material to the full breakfast spread, the photoshoot really bridged the ‘60s and modern day.
The lookbook of fun photos is sweetly sexy, with looks ranging in all directions from flirty lingerie to cute and comfy PJ sets to swimwear to cozy loungewear and all the way to fun and simple day looks. The beginning of the lookbook features the lingerie, with Vita and Kristina looking stunning in giggling moments captured on film.
The looks are quirky, with quips, quotes, and fun images and prints. So even if you aren’t in the market to expand your bedroom wardrobe, you can find funny retro shirts to liven up your wardrobe. When the photos weren’t black and white, there was an explosion of pink. Femininity is key in this lookbook, and the large use of this color celebrates it to a very high extent.
The shoot is complete with small breaks from the fashion, like a recipe for a scrumptious looking roasted strawberry shortcake shake, or a list of everything in Wildfox woman’s bag. Priscilla Ono even provides a quick tutorial on how to execute ‘60s style makeup, like what is shown in the lookbook. And if you ever get bored with your gelatin, they even give you “100 things to put in your Jell-O.”
If you look through the whole Wildfox Girls of Beverly Hills lookbook, you’re going to be scrolling for quite some time – but you will never be bored. The intense fun in this photoshoot is tangible, so no matter how many frames you look at, you have the need to see the whole thing.
If there’s one thing to pull from this collection, it’s that there are so many exceptional looks that are available so close to the holiday season.
